The monitor or TV tilts forward and does not remain level

1. Locate the tilt tension adjustment bolt near the VESA head.
2. Supplementary bolts may be also be located on the top or bottom near the VESA head. Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific bolt(s) located on the product. If the monitor or TV continues to tilt after tightening, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw

Monitor arm droops and slowly lowers over time

Identify the arm tension adjustment screw (usually labeled with "+/-"). Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific bolt located on the product. Turn the adjustment towards the "+" side to increase the lifting force. Adjust in small increments whille testing the arm height. If the arm continues to droop after increasing the lifting force, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw

Monitor arm rises automatically

Identify the arm tension adjustment screw (usually labeled with "+/-"). Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific bolt located on the product. Turn the adjustment towards the "-" side to decrease the lifting force. Continue adjusting until balanced movement is achieved. If the arm continues to rise after decreasing the lifting force, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw

Monitor arm sways or does not stay in position

If the monitor arm is swaying or not holding its position, the join tension may be loose. Locate the adjustment screw at the end of the monitor arm joint and tighten it using the included Allen key. Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific screw located on the product. If the monitor arm continues to sway after proper adjustment, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw

The screen rotation lock mechanism may be loose

1. The screen rotation lock or rotation tension may be loose. Locate the rotation lock bolt on the VESA plate or mounting bracket and tighten it using the appropriate Allen key. Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific screws located on the product. Note: some monitor arm models do not include a dedicated rotation lock. On these models, rotation resistance is preset by design.

2. Certain monitors have uneven internal weight distribution, which may cause unwanted rotation. In such case, use a monitor arm with rotation lock. If the screen continues to rotate after proper adjustment on a monitor arm with rotation lock, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw

Monitor mount leans forward warping desk

1. Ensure the desk is made of solid materials and durable. It is recommended to use a AVLT adjustable reinforcement plate when installing the monitor mount to distribute weight more evenly and improve overall stability and rigidity.

2. Verify the clamp or grommet is fully tightened and seated flush against the desk surface.

3. If the issue persists, consider relocating the monitor mount to a desk with greater structural integrity and load-bearing capacity.

Screen with VESA plate installed is difficult to latch onto the monitor arm

On certain monitor arm models, moderate force may be required to reposition the VESA plate. If the adjustment is difficult, slightly loosen the side adjustment bolts to allow easier movement. Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific bolt located on the product. With the VESA plate still attached to the monitor arm, adjust the plate so it faces forward. Once the VESA plate is properly aligned and facing forward, retighten the side bolt to secure it in position. Remove the VESA plate and proceed with mounting it to the back of the monitor.

Lower Arm says excessively or cannot rotate behind the back of the desk

Check whether your AVLT monitor model includes a lower arm rotation lock or rotation limit mechanism to setup 180° or 360°. Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific rotation lock mechanism on the product. If your model does not include lower arm rotation lock, the rotation range is preset by design and cannot be adjusted. If the lower arm continues to sway or rotate improperly after confirming the rotation lock is correct set, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw

Monitor arm makes noise during movement

Slowly move the arm through its full range of motion and apply a small amount of lubricant to external pivot joints to reduce friction. Note: do not apply lubricant to the gas spring or mechanical spring components, as this may affect performance or cause damage.

Monitor mount base shifts when adjusting screen

Recheck and firmly tighten the desk clamp or grommet mount. Verify that the desk surface is solid, level, and with supported durability for your monitor arm and setup. It is recommended to us a AVLT adjustable reinforcement plate when installing the monitor mount to distribute weight more evenly and improve overall stability and rigidity. If the issue persists, consider relocating the monitor mount to a desk with greater structural integrity and load-bearing capacity.

Monitor mount cannot be securely clamped due to an underside desk support bar

1. Reposition the clamp to an area of the desk where the lower clamp plate can make full, even contact with the underside of the desk. If your desk design allows, consider using a grommet mount installation as an alternative mounting method.

2. Use a compatible spacer or leveling block to create a flat, even mounting surfact that aligns with the height of the support bar, allowing the clamp to be tightened securely.

Monitor arm sways or does not stay in position

1. If the monitor arm is swaying or not holding its position, the join tension may be loose. Locate the adjustment screw at the end of the monitor arm joint and tighten it using the included Allen key. Refer to the product installation manual for illustrations showing the specific screw located on the product.

2. Check if the product has been installed levelIed on the wall using a spirit level. If the monitor arm continues to sway after proper adjustment, please contact AVLT RMA for replacement via support@avlab.com.tw
